Set-up options & examples

Our pods come on treated ground contact runners, allowing for flexible installation to fit your site’s needs. Most locations use gravel as a substrate, compacting it to minimize settling. Some opt for piers to elevate the pods in flood-prone areas, while others place them on concrete pads and anchor them down. With the largest pod weighing around 5,000 lbs and most under 4,000 lbs, standard equipment can easily handle placement.

Gravel base

  • The most common setup, providing a stable and well-draining base.

  • Compacting the gravel helps minimize shifting over time.

Pier Foundation

  • Ideal for flood-prone areas, elevating the pod for safety.

  • Allows for decks and additional structural enhancements.

Concrete Pad

  • Offers a long-term foundation with the option to anchor the pod.

  • Provides a level base, reducing movement or settling.
